About Ghosts and Earthbound Spirits

Ghosts or earthbound spirits that take up occupancy in a building, in most cases, are the spirits of people who for whatever reason have not crossed over. It is our belief that there are times when a person dies suddenly or with unresolved issues so powerful that the spirit of that person does not fully crossover into the light or complete the journey to their place of origin. They, in their energy form, remain in the earth or material plane of existence. There are a variety of reasons that a persons spirit may not crossover and include not feeling deserving enough to crossover, or staying behind to protect or watch over loved ones, or they may just not realize that they have died.

Ghosts, spirits or other supernatural energies may opportunistically attach to houses, land, or other structures, even automobiles. When this haunting occurs, in addition to noises, odors and similar phenomena, we believe a person can experience influences of the attached ghost or earthbound energy. When an earthbound or earthbounds attach to the energy field of a structure, the influence of their thoughts, feelings, addictions, or strong habit patterns, even physical feelings may be felt by and possibly affect negatively the people living or working in the structure.

In all cases, it is important for the ghost or earthbound spirit to be crossed over so that they can finish their journey at this level of existence and return to their appropriate place in the light.

Ghosts or Spirits Attaching to People

As discussed earlier, there are many times when a person dies with unresolved issues so powerful that the person does not fully crossover into the light of a higher vibrational plane or spirit realm. They, in their energy form, remain in the earth or material plane of existence.

In this condition these ghosts or earthbound spirits may opportunistically or accidentally attach to an incarnate persons energy field. When this occurs, the host person can experience influences of the attached earthbound energy. Thoughts, emotions, addictions, or strong habit patterns, even physical feelings of the earthbound spirit may filter to the host. Since these influences from the earthbound spirit come through the host persons energy filed and brain, the host cannot usually tell the difference between their own thoughts or feelings and those of the earthbound spirit. The earthbound spirit also can siphon energy from the host in order to remain attached to the earth plane.

Sometimes, the host person has a sense of something being "with" them and may over the years even develop a dependent or codependent relationship with the earthbound spirit at an energetic level. This is especially true if the attachment takes place when the host is very young. The goal is to release the earthbound spirit from the host and move it fully in the light so it can complete its journey.
